Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
A funky rendition of the unique and quirky city of Huntsville, Alabama, a city so rich in culture, steeped in Southern tradition and dripping with hi-tech innovation. Mix all that together, and you have this expression of Carole's "sense of place" that she has called home for much of her life.
Carole was born from generational artists, raised in North Alabama, and is a graduate of Auburn University. For over 34 years, she has worked as a full-time professional artist in painting and art instruction in many places in the Southeast and Europe, and in Huntsville, Alabama where she has resided for the past 10 years. Some of the highlights of her career include being chosen for a residency in France for the summer of 2019, and being featured on Alabama Public TV in its Alabama Art Seen along with other notable artists. In 2013 Carole was a keynote speaker at the nation's Capitol in Washington D.C. for the Congressional Art Competition. She is a Southern Living Magazine featured artist (October 2008) and has been chosen as the...
